Organic Millet Upma
Organic millet upma is one of the most loved and nutritious breakfast & snack options in South India. The dish is made using millet grains, typically foxtail millet (known as “thinai” in Tamil), little millet (“samadhi”), or pearl millet (“bajra”).
Traditionally, the Upma is a classic Indian breakfast made using semolina(rava or sooji). Still, little millet upma is the healthier version, made with millet grains instead of semolina. The millet or bajra upma has a slightly different texture than the traditional semolina upma. The millet upma has a substantial texture and a bit of chewiness, making the dish a more fulfilling, wholesome and nutritious meal.
The millet grains are tiny and crispy and have a colour from light yellow to brown. They taste sweet with a nutty flavour, which enhances the overall profile of the upma. With no hassle of soaking and grinding the millet for hours and without worrying about the accuracy of the species, you can enjoy bajra upma using upma instant mix.
Organic millet upma online offers convenience and saves time in the kitchen while still providing a flavorful and textured dish. All you need is to add water and organic millet upma mix, and your millet upma will be ready in no time.
