Cleaning – Suji is made of durum wheat, which is first cleaned properly to remove any broken or shrunken kernels and other foreign materials.
Tempering – It is then tempered to a particular moisture content, which toughens the seed coat of wheat. This helps in efficiently separating the endosperm and bran.
Milling – Then comes the complex milling process that involves repetitive sieving and grinding of the durum wheat.
Purification – Lastly, the purification process takes place. Proper purification makes sure that bran powder is low and there is a maximum yield of semolina or Suji that goes into the making of the best organic Rava Upma mix.
If you do not store it correctly, then the organic Rava Upma mix will become stagnant, and you won’t be able to use it. Make sure to store the Suji Ka Upma in a sealed, airtight container so that moisture cannot affect it. Please keep it away from direct sunlight and in a cool, dry place.
